Futsal
Futsal is an exciting, fast-paced small sided soccer game that is played across the world and is officially recognized by FIFA.
Futsal earned the status of FIFA’s official form of indoor soccer in the 1980s as it was recognized as a scaled down version of outdoor soccer played indoors. It is a 5 v 5 small-sided game played on a hard surfaced, basketball sized court with a smaller, low bounce ball. Futsal is played with touchline boundaries and without walls.

Futsal places a large emphasis on technical skill in high pressure situations which can be translated into the outdoor game. The sport is a great skill developer as it demands quick reflexes, fast thinking and pin-point passing.
Futsal is played in all the continents of the world by over 100 countries with 12 million players. Great soccer superstars such as Pele, Zico, Ronaldo, Messi, Kaka and Katia grew up playing the game and credit futsal with developing their skills.
Alaska Futsal League
This statewide league is run by Alaska Youth Soccer. AYSA recognizes the statewide Futsal League will serve as a venue and a pathway for the state's youth soccer players to further develop their skills in all levels and ages while providing opportunities to become elite players on the State level along with the promotion of club development and growth.

TTSC offers a competitive level for youth and cup-based competition while encouraging good sportsmanship and fair play of all the participants.

Future plans include state-wide futsal Camps and Clinic training opportunities for player development.
Spring Futsal
This program will run March through May with emphasis on technical skill building using the game of Futsal. As popularity for the sport grows, we hope other Southeast Alaska communities will join to create more competitive opportunities.
Outdoor Futsal Court
One of the TTSC goals is to encourage kids to just play! In 2018 an outdoor court was fitted with Futsal lines for any and all to go out and play, have fun and be creative.
The court is located by the tennis courts on 7th Avenue between Kayhi and the Dudley fields.
